Requirements

• Postgraduate degree. Academics with relevant administrative exposure would get preference.
• At least 15 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 7 years in academic administration within a comprehensive university environment and at least 3 years of service as an Assistant Registrar or Deputy Registrar in a reputed higher education institution.
• Sound knowledge of university governance, academic regulations, administrative procedures, and higher education policies.
• Familiarity with the regulatory framework and compliance requirements of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Ministry of Education, and other relevant statutory bodies.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and team management skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and manage administrative personnel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong drafting abilities for official correspondence, reports, policies, and meeting minutes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and maintain productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic university environment.
