About Department of Law & Human Rights

The study of law will take you to the center of many of today's great social and political issues. Law is not something abstract or remote; it is the way that society, through institutions like Parliament, the courts, and administrative tribunals of many kinds, lays down its rules. Lawyers must be able to understand how the law is made and applied, and how it relates to the daily life of the community and to the needs of individuals.
