Being the tenth in a row of annual CLR (Community Law Reform) publications of ELCOP, the book is jointly edited by Professor Dr. Md. Rahmat Ullah, Department of Law, University of Dhaka; Barrister Tapas Kanti Baul, Prosecutor of International Crimes Tribunal-Bangladesh; and Bayazid Hossain, Lecturer in Law, Bangladesh Open University.
The foreword of the book is written by Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman, Former Chairman of National Human Rights Commission, Bangladesh. In his foreword, Professor Rahman observes: “This book, I believe, will serve as a signpost for those who would carry on the fight for the rights of the Harijans and marginalized classes of people with passion and understanding. I expect that this book will contribute substantially to the existing socio-legal knowledge and will be of readily available reading material for the novice learners, young interdisciplinary researchers, teachers, human rights activists, community leaders and interested ones.”
