Seminar on "Beyond the Dispensary: Career Pathways & Emerging Opportunities in the Pharmaceutical Industry"
On September 3, 2026, the Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific, organized a seminar titled "Beyond the Dispensary: Career Pathways & Emerging Opportunities in the Pharmaceutical Industry" at the UAP Auditorium. The seminar aimed to provide students with practical insights into the diverse career pathways available to pharmacy graduates beyond traditional dispensing roles.
The department was honored to welcome Md. Muhsin Mia, Director, Marketing Operations, Advanced Chemical Industries Limited (ACI), as the distinguished guest speaker. Drawing on his extensive professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Muhsin delivered an insightful and engaging session focusing on career opportunities, pharmaceutical industry insights, and the professional requirements necessary for building a successful career in the industry.
Among the distinguished attendees were Prof. Dr. Zabun Nahar, Head of Department of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shahriar, Dean School of Pharmacy, Ramisa Anjum, Assistant Professor, and Fahmida Tasnim Richi, Lecturer from the Department of Pharmacy.
