FACULTY ORIENTATION PROGRAM, SPRING 2025

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Asia Pacific - UAP organized an orientation program for the newly appointed faculty members of UAP who joined in Spring 2025. It was a day long program held on 10 July 2025 at Room No-614, Dept. of Civil Engineering.

The program had been started with welcoming session. Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan; Advisor to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, Respected Deans, Professor Dr. Abu Sayeed M. Ahmed, Professor Dr. M. A. Baqui Khalily and Professor Dr. G R Ahemd Jamal addressed the welcoming speeches to the newly appointed faculty members. The session was anchored by Dr. Afroza Aziz Suchana. The welcoming session had been concluded with vote of thanks to the management of UAP and the participants by Director of IQAC, Professor Dr Md Ashraful Alam.

The 2nd part of the orientation program covered briefing sessions of various administrative Departments / Units of the University. The briefing was conducted by Honorable Treasurer, Professor Dr. Sheikh Anwar Hossain; Professor Dr. Aloke Kumar Saha, Proctor; Professor Dr. Swarnali Islam Khandaker, Controller of Examinations; Professor Dr. Md Ashraful Alam, Director, IQAC; Dr. Tanveer Ferdous Saeed, Director, IEERD; Mr. Mohammad Rakiv, Asst. Director, Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW); Mr. Mohammad Shamsur Rahman, FCMA, Director, Finance and Accounts Office; Ms. Sajia Sultana, Deputy Librarian; Md Abdul Latif, Web Administrator on behalf of IT section. Md. Kausarul Haque University Engineer and official of, IQAC. The program was ended with vote of thanks by Professor Dr. Md Ashraful Alam, Director IQAC.
