Imrul Kayes Shafie joined UAP in July 2021 as a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering. He completed his BSc in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in February 2021.
For undergraduate thesis, he focused his research on Human Factor Engineering and Road Safety under the supervision of Dr. Md. Shamsul Hoque. He was an affiliated member of the BUET STARS (Socio-Technical Approach to Road Safety) team, and is actively engaged with the STARS team lead by University of Southampton.
