Dr. Imran Chowdhury completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Water Resource and Environmental Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He received B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering of Asia Pacific University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to that, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of KFUPM, Saudi Arabia. He started his career as a Structural Engineer at BeeZ Studio, Dhaka. After that, he joined as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at European University, Bangladesh. His research interest includes water and wastewater treatment, disinfection byproducts, exposure and risk analysis, virtual water, water security.
