DSW organizes a webinar on “From Flight to Face: Post-COVID Career Choices 1.0”

 

On July 24 2020, The Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW), in association with Entrepreneurship and Career Development Club (ECDC), UAP and WSDA New Zealand, organized an interactive webinar on “From Flight to Face: Post COVID Career Choices 1.0 with a tagline Unlock your true Potential”.

Mr. Ahmed Bari, Life Coach and Vice President, WSDA New Zealand addressed the webinar as the leading resource person while Air Cdre (Retd.) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer and Director, DSW, UAP joined the webinar as the Chief Guest. In his welcome remarks, Mr. Choudhury thanked the panelists, participants and volunteers of ECDC and DSW who put their efforts to make the event successful. He urged the students to adapt to the new normal situation with a positive mindset and hoped that we would overcome the pandemic situation and get back to our classrooms soon.

Mr. Bari, in his speech, suggested the students deal with all the problems and challenges that they are facing during this pandemic situation with discipline, integrity and high level of enthusiasm to conquer. In every step of this journey, competency and self-assessments are important factors to consider.

The webinar was also attended by Air Cdre (Retd.) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer and Director, Directorate of Student Welfare (DSW), UAP, and Mr. Sheikh Manzoor-e-Alam, Director, Outreach and Communication, TIB.

The webinar was also addressed by Ms. Shayla Binta Sayeed, Assistant Professors, and convener of the Placement Committee, Department of Business Administration and Mr. Md. Tarek Khan, Assistant Director, DSW and moderated by Ms. Zannatul Eshita, WSDA New Zealand.

More than one hundred students joined the webinar with full enthusiasm in this interactive webinar and took part in the Q&A session.

The Post-COVID Career-related webinar ended with a vote of thanks by the Club Adviser Ms. Sisili Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, UAP.
