Virtual Orientation Programme for Spring 2020 held at UAP

 

University of Asia Pacific (UAP) held its virtual orientation programme for the newly enrolled students of Spring 2020 on 27 June, 2020.

Mr. C M Shafi Sami,Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT) was the Chief Guest of the programme. In this speech he thanked the students for their decision to continue their studies on the online platform and encouraged them to overcome the worries of this pandemic situation. He added that UAP would make every effort to deliver a world class online education to its students.

Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir, the acting Vice Chancellor, UAP was the Special Guest in the event. He inspired the students in his speech and assured them of providing every kind of help to make their online studies fruitful. He advised the students to orient themselves to this new normal situation. He concluded his speech by saying that “we know we will be facing lots of challenges but we will overcome.”

Among others, Air Cdre (Retd.) IshafaqIlahi Choudhury, the Treasurer; Mr. Sarwar R. Chowdhury, the Registrar; and the respective Heads of the departments also addressed the students in the programme. However, the online classes of UAP started from yesterday, 28June, 2020.
