UAP Civil Engineering Alumni Association Successfully Organizes FUTSAL Tournament 2026 -- Season 1

The UAP Civil Engineering Alumni Association successfully organized the FUTSAL Tournament 2026 -- Season 1 at Courtside (Chef's Table) Turf on 03 July 2026 (Friday). The day-long tournament was held from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, bringing together alumni in a spirited celebration of sportsmanship, friendship, and teamwork.

Professor Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, Acting Vice Chancellor, UAP, inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest. Mr. Syed Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, UAP and Engineer Md. Helal Uddin Talukder, Chairman of IEB (Dhaka Centre) attended the event as the Special Guest.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Engineer Mizanur Rahman, Organizer of the Organizing Committee, along with the advisors and members of the UAP Civil Engineering Alumni Association.

A total of six teams participated in the tournament: XL Kickers, Legacy X1, Weaver Victorians, North Bengal Express, LAC Phoenix, and The Pillar. After a series of exciting and closely contested matches, XL Kickers emerged as the champions, while Legacy X1 finished as the runners-up.

The tournament concluded with a prize-giving ceremony, celebrating the outstanding performances of the participating teams and reinforcing the strong bond among UAP Civil Engineering alumni through sports and healthy competition.
