UAP Indoor Games Club - Badminton Tournament Fall-2025

The Indoor Games Club of the University of Asia Pacific concluded an exciting three-day celebration of campus sports with the Inter-Department Badminton Tournament, Fall 2025, which was held with great enthusiasm and goodwill. The event, held from May 2 to May 4, gathered students, staff, and notable guests to UAP's front yard to celebrate not only victory, but also the enduring spirit of sportsmanship that defines university life. This year's tournament was enhanced by the inauguration of a brand-new badminton court in the front yard of UAP, a momentous addition that represents a significant step forward in the university's commitment to nurturing a thriving sports culture on campus.

The tournament drew participants from eight departments and featured strong yet amicable competition in five categories. This year's edition was distinguished by the enthusiastic participation of female athletes, who played with exceptional skill and confidence in both dedicated women's divisions and the Mixed Doubles event, bringing a wonderful dimension to the competition.

In the Female Singles category, Tasnim of the Department of English clinched the championship title, with Toma of Civil Engineering finishing as runner-up. The Male Singles category saw Shuvo of the Department of Pharmacy emerge victorious, while Saif of BBA took the runner-up position. In the Female Doubles category, the duo of Nargis and Mitu from BBA claimed the champion title, with Sumona and Nuri of English finishing as runners-up. The Male Doubles title went to Abrar and Saif of BBA, who outplayed Rahin and Zubayer of Civil Engineering, the runners-up of the category. Finally, in a thrilling Mixed Doubles final, Lamia and Saiful of the Department of Pharmacy took the championship, with Abrar and Nargis of BBA securing the runner-up position.

As the ceremony came to an end, the Indoor Games Club expressed its sincere gratitude to the tournament's convener and the hardworking club members who made this three-day outdoor event possible. With a brand-new court in the university's front yard, the future of badminton at UAP appears more promising than ever.
