Although the workshop was primarily arranged for the faculty members of the University of Asia Pacific, later on it was attended by faculties from Daffodil International University (DIU) and Trust University, Barishal as well.

In the opening remark, the Head of DBA, Dr. Mahbubul Haque welcomed the guests and the participants. He further emphasized the importance of conducting research and creating new knowledge especially in the tertiary level education.

The Chief Guest thanked the Department for undertaking a timely initiative to conduct such a workshop on SEM and further emphasized on the importance of SEM to scholars regardless of backgrounds. He expressed his hope in the department to conduct such workshops in near future. The Special Guest, Mohammed Alauddin, PhD, after welcoming the resource person and the participants, emphasized on future collaboration opportunities with Royal University of Bhutan on several projects. He also opined that working closely with foreign universities would pave the way of solving problems more efficiently.

Dean of Engineering School, Dr. Muhammad Mizanur Rahaman also congratulated Department of Business Administration of UAP for arranging such an important session for all the faculty members during his speech.

During the two day session Dr. Rajnish covered several topics on Structural Equation Modelling. Initially he described the basics of SEM. Later he explained the measurement model and structural model. Moreover, he demonstrated the steps to conduct structural equation modelling through AMOS software. Both sessions were followed by question/answer session. Dr. Rajnish answered all the questions asked by the faculty members of different disciplines.

The two day session was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Mahbubul Haque, Head of DBA, UAP. The event was organized by the Seminar & Webinar Organizing Committee of DBA. The committee includes Mr. Md. Sharif Hassan (Convener & Lecturer, DBA), Mr. Maeen Uddin (Lecturer, DBA) and Ms. Nazneen Noor (Lecturer, DBA).
