The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), University of Asia Pacific (UAP), in collaboration with the IEEE UAP Student Branch and IEEE WIE Affinity Group, organized an Industrial visit to Walton Hi-Tech Park PLC on August 17, 2025, for 4th-year IEEE member students. This visit provided students with invaluable hands-on experience, enabling them to observe and understand the real-world applications of electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering in one of Bangladesh’s foremost industrial environments.
The visit aimed to strengthen academia-industry collaboration by providing 4th Year EEE students with firsthand exposure to one of Bangladesh’s leading manufacturing hubs. Esteemed faculty members from the Department of EEE accompanied the students, enriching the experience with their guidance and academic insights.
This industrial visit served as an excellent opportunity for students to deepen their theoretical knowledge through practical exposure. By observing the advanced engineering practices and equipment at Walton PLC, students could connect classroom learning to real-world applications, thus enhancing their understanding of the electrical and electronic engineering industry. Experiences like these play a pivotal role in preparing students for professional careers by bridging the gap between academic concepts and industry requirements.
