The ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including Architect Mahbuba Haque, Chairperson of the BOT; Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor of UAP; esteemed professors from various departments; and members from Phoenix. Together, they commended the program for its potential to foster student aptitude in emerging technologies, such as IoT, AI, and robotics.
Phoenix-1.X, a specialized project under the broader initiative of eChithi, aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the world of embedded systems and technology startups. The program aspires to create an environment conducive to students transitioning from academics to successful entrepreneurs, driving technological advancements and startups across the country.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Ahsan highlighted the importance of such initiatives in shaping the future of technology entrepreneurs. "UAP has always prided itself on its commitment to providing cutting-edge education and fostering innovation. Through collaborations like these, we can help our students develop the skills and mindset needed to contribute to our nation's technological growth," he said.
The Phoenix project represents a significant step forward in UAP’s mission to bridge the gap between academia and industry by offering students not only theoretical knowledge but also practical opportunities for hands-on involvement in the tech sector. With its emphasis on embedded systems, AI, IoT, and robotics, Phoenix is poised to drive the future of innovation in Bangladesh, equipping the next generation of leaders with the tools they need to succeed in the fast-evolving tech landscape. The program is expected to accelerate the development of technology-enhanced startups, boosting economic growth and industrial advancements in the nation.
As UAP continues to establish itself as a leader in the field of computer science and engineering, the Phoenix-1.X initiative stands as a testament to its commitment to shaping a brighter, technology-driven future for Bangladesh.
