Drama Workshop on "Developing the Skills of Stage Presence" by the UAP Drama Club held at UAP

The UAP Drama Club, one of the central clubs of the Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW), UAP, successfully organized a workshop for the students on November 2, 2024, at the UAP campus from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The workshop was assisted by the respected alumni of UAP Drama Club.

The alumni focused on a variety of acting exercises and techniques throughout the workshop, including physical warm-up, characterization, group work, and improvisation. With an array of entertaining and stimulating exercises, the program sought to empower pupils and help them to uncover their hidden talents. They discussed the rehearsal process and stage fundamentals.

In addition, they provided some crucial pointers and advice about public acting. All these activities boosted the student’s confidence and helped them hone their communication skills by getting them involved in a variety of activities. Each participant in this session was instructed to develop an idea and perform it at a later time. Following their performance, the alumni gave them criticism on a variety of topics, including physicality, gestures, speech patterns, and movements. There was also a question-and-answer period near the end of the session.

All the participants also showcased their talent for acting by performing short glance performances.
Lastly, flowers were given to all participating students as an expression of hope and encouragement.
