Orientation Program on Forming Red Crescent Youth - UAP

The Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW) organized an insightful Orientation Program on “Forming Red Crescent Youth – UAP” on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the UAP Auditorium.
The event provided an insightful platform for students to learn about the Red Crescent's impactful work and to explore ways to contribute to humanitarian causes, such as flood management, first aid training, and organizing blood donation camps.

The event was graced by the presence of notable guests, including DSW representatives Dr. A.S.M Mohsin; notable Red Crescent volunteer Madiha Sarkar and Robiul Islam Hridoy, the Deputy Departmental Chief of Training and Co-Curricular Activities, along with Durjoy Das, the Deputy Youth Chief 1.
The event concluded with an interactive session, where students had the chance to ask questions and discuss how they could make meaningful contributions through their involvement in Red Crescent Youth and share their experiences.

UAP will manage a training session aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills for effective participation in humanitarian efforts. Additionally, the formation of a Red Crescent Youth committee with 53 members is planned to facilitate ongoing engagement and coordination of activities.
