Dr. Md. Anisur Rahman has been awarded his Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
His doctoral dissertation titled, "Growth and Characterization of Amino Acid-Based Organic and Semi-organic Single Crystals for Nonlinear Optical Applications," was approved by the BUET Academic Council and officially published on January 15, 2025.
Dr. Anis had been under the guidance of the esteemed Professor Jiban Podder, Ph.D., FRSC (UK), FBAS, and his current research continues to explore the fascinating field of nonlinear optical crystals.
A true scholar, Dr. Anis has also contributed a number of publications in prestigious Q1 journals, marking significant strides in the scientific community.
Having earned his M. Phil. in Physics from BUET and serving as a Lecturer since April 15, 2008, Dr. Anis now serves as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Asia Pacific.
