Department of Pharmacy Coordinates Educational Excursion to CVASU with a Visit to Cox's Bazar

The Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific (UAP) recently organized a study tour for fourth-year second-semester students to the Chattogram Veterinary & Animal Sciences University on October 31st, 2024.

The excursion included a group of 65 pharmacy students accompanied by faculty members, including Ms. Ramisa Anjum, Mr. Mohammad Ashraful Islam, Lecturer, Mr. AHM Nazmul Hasan, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Md. Hamiduzzaman, Assistant Professor.

During the visit, the students visited the anatomy and fisheries museum situated at the university. At the anatomy museum, the students were greeted with a sight of mummified different animals. There were also preserved organs of different animals—bronchial tree of cattle, large intestine of horse, small intestine of cattle.

The fisheries museum exhibited the many different species of marine life. After concluding the visit to CVASU, the UAP team proceeded to Cox’s Bazar. Upon arrival at ‘Divine Eco Resort’, the students settled in for a two-day stay. The following morning, the group went sightseeing around the beach area.

Later that evening, both faculty and students engaged in a cultural program organized by batch-49, actively participating in various festivities such as singing, dancing, and recitation. On the third day, the group went on an excursion to Patuartek Beach and Lal Kakra Beach by an exciting and enjoyable ride through the Cox Bazar Marine Road.

The three-day tour successfully concluded as students and faculty departed for Dhaka on the evening of November 2nd, 2024.
