UAP students participated in the 5th Jessup Workshop

The students of the Department of Law and Human Rights of University of Asia Pacific (UAP) attend a workshop on mooting and advocacy. The team successfully completed a two-day workshop of the 5th Jessup workshop held at BRAC University on November 1-2, 2024.

The workshop, entitled “May It Please the Court: Unlocking the Essentials of Mooting and Advocacy," was organized by Jessup Bangladesh and the International Law Students Association (ILSA), in collaboration with Hearth Bangladesh, BRAC University, School of Law, and the US Department of Justice.

The UAP team consists of Md. Harisur Rohoman, Mohsin Mostari Tithi, Narzis Tasnim Chowdhury Autree, Md. Mahafuzar Rahaman, and Mehrajun Sakin. And the team was led by their coach, Mr. Forhad Hossain, Lecturer, Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP. They participated in sessions aimed at honing their skills in mooting and advocacy.

The initiative is expected to fuel greater enthusiasm for mooting among UAP law students, contributing to their growth in legal education and practice.
