The much-awaited UAPPC Inter-University Photo Carnival 2024 brought together photography enthusiasts from across the universities for two inspiring days, held on the 24th and 25th of November.
One of the highlights of the event was Photo Story Hunt S02: Tales of the City, where participating teams had to creatively capture and narrate compelling urban tales through their lenses. On the 24th, teams submitted their story-based photograph series, showcasing diverse interpretations of city life. Each story, a blend of visual artistry and narrative depth, reflected the unique perspectives of the talented students, making the exhibition at UAP Plaza an immersive experience for attendees.
The carnival culminated on the 25th with a grand prize-giving ceremony, recognizing the most outstanding photo stories. The top teams impressed the judges with their originality, storytelling, and technical prowess. The day also featured an engaging photo adda session with Mishuk Ashraful Awal, our esteemed judge. He shared valuable insights about storytelling in photography, captivating the audience with anecdotes from his illustrious career.
The UAPPC family is truly grateful to all the participants, judges, and visitors who contributed to the success of the event. Photo Story Hunt S02: Tales of the City was not just a competition but a celebration of the art of visual storytelling, and everyone’s enthusiasm made it a memorable experience.
