UAP alumnus awarded fully funded research assistantship at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC)

Mr. Md Komol Hassan, an accomplished alumnus of the Department of Civil Engineering, 33rd Batch, at the University of Asia Pacific, where he completed his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, has achieved a significant milestone in his academic career.

Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at the European University of Bangladesh, Md Komol Hassan has been awarded a fully funded research assistantship for the Master of Science in Civil Engineering program at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC).

He will join Dr. Hossain M. Azam's research team in the Spring 2025 session to contribute to a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)-funded project focusing on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of Hydroponic Systems. This achievement underscores his dedication to advancing sustainable engineering practices and his commitment to impactful research.
