UAP Photography Club, one of the central clubs supervised by the Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW) of the University of Asia Pacific (UAP), organized its 7th Photo-Walk on 30th July, 2022 at Panam Nagar, Narayanganj.
Panam Nagar is an ancient city situated at Sonargaon, Narayanganj. It is also one of the earliest cities in Bangladesh in existence. The city area covers roughly 20 square kilometers, consisting of several historical buildings built centuries ago connected with the history of Baro-Bhuyan. Reportedly, Panam Nagar is one of the most visited tourist spots in Bangladesh. The photographers like to come here and capture the beautiful structures in their camera.
With its objective to explore and capture heritage sites, UAP Photography Club arranged the photo-walk. Twelve members of the UAP Photography Club participated in the photo-walk which started from the UAP plaza at 8:00 am and ended at 5:00 pm on the same day. This day-long program was a memorable experience for the participants where novice photographers got a chance to pick up loads of new perspectives, ideas, and techniques from the experienced photographers.
