NOTICE REGARDING STRICT ADHERENCE TO ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT AT UAP

With reference to our previous notice dated 08 September 2022, it is to be reiterated that University of Asia Pacific (UAP) is a politically neutral institution of higher education by rules and practices, which UAP expects would be respected and complied with by all for the supreme desirable national goal of turning our youths into valuable human resource without any loss of time in academic pursuit. In that spirit, UAP authority is committed to maintaining a peaceful and tranquil campus environment and it does not allow any partisan political activities within its premises.

Regarding usage of the name, logo and premises of the university, it has institutional guidelines. It prohibits the use of UAP name, logo and premises to promote any politically affiliated student bodies and their activities. However, UAP recognizes the value that all stakeholders of the university are at the freedom to express their views and practice it at a personal level.

It is to be noted here that UAP provides enormous scopes for exercising democratic values and promoting leadership quality, instilling cultural and social skills through UAP’s more than 100 student clubs and forums to pursue curricular, co-curricular and extra- curricular activities and develop tolerance and mutual respect for differing viewpoints and opinion.

With that end in view, we seek sincere cooperation of our students, parents, guardians and all concerned to help us maintain peaceful academic environment at UAP.
