Seminar on “Consumer Behavior: Insights from the Fintech Industry” held

As part of the Guest Lecture Series, a seminar on “Consumer Behavior: Insights from the Fintech Industry” was held on Saturday, 22 October 2022 at the Department of Business Administration, UAP.

The speaker for the seminar was Mr. Syed Ibrahim Saajid, SAVP & Head of Internet Banking, Digital Financial Service, The City Bank Limited. The Guest Lecture Series is a part of DBAs continuous plan to allow students to apply classroom knowledge to the real world by inviting practitioners to share their experience among the students.

In his speech on " Consumer Behavior: Insights from the Fintech Industry ", Mr. Syed Ibrahim Saajid shared the evolution of the Banking and Fintech industry globally and in Bangladesh. He also shed light on the future prospect of the industry and how fintech is going to play a part in the upcoming days.

Lastly, he discussed the various factors that affect the Fintech consumers in Bangladesh. The session ended with a vote of thanks from Ahmed Tausif Saad, Assistant Professor, DBA. A crest was then handed over to the guest as a souvenir of the event.
