UAP alumna achieved the prestigious DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Scholarship

You will be happy to know that Ms. Afia Zahin Nita Hossain, an alumna of UAP Department of Civil Engineering, achieved the prestigious DAAD scholarship awarded by the German Academic Exchange Service for pursuing a fully funded postgraduate degree in Germany. She has been awarded the DAAD scholarship to study tropical hydrogeology and environmental engineering program at TU Darmstadt. DAAD scholarship is one of the most globally respected and competitive scholarships.

Ms. Afia Zahin Nita Hossain received her Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Asia Pacific in 2021. Her research interests include water resources management, quantitative and qualitative analysis of alternative water technologies, and sanitation safety planning, Currently, she is working as a “Research Associate” at ITN-BUET.
