Dhaka, 26th June 2021: BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) hosted a webinar titled, “Relationship Marketing: A new frontier for modern day marketers”, on 26th June’ 2021. Dr. Md. Tareque Aziz, Professor of relationship marking from University of Asia Pacific (UAP), presented in the webinar as the keynote speaker.
Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor of BGMEA University Professor Dr. Ayub Nabi Khan and the Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) Professor Dr. Muinuddin Khan welcomed Professor Dr. Md. Tareque Aziz to the webinar. Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies along with other distinguished faculty members and hundreds of students from different faculty of the university joined the webinar.
The webinar gave insights on how the evolution took place from the conventional transactional marketing toward the modern concept of relationship marketing. Dr. Aziz gave an insightful and interactive description on how modern-day marketers are practicing relationship marketing in their organizations and how their mindset is constantly shifting from traditional marketing practices toward the building and nurturing of relationship marketing within and outside their organizations. Several cases were presented during the webinar to explain how the concepts of relationship marketing is actually practiced by the commercial organizations now a days.
At the end of webinar, a Q&A session was conducted and participating students, academicians as well as administrators participated in a lively discussion on different aspects of relationship marketing and its way forward into the new millennials. At the end of the two-hour long webinar a vote of thanks was given by the Dean of the faculty of business studies where Professor Dr. Khan highly appreciated and thanked Dr. Aziz for his in depth, detailed and highly enjoyable presentation.
