ECDC organized ‘Meet the CEO’- Spring 2023

UAP Entrepreneurship and Career Development Club (ECDC) organized an extraordinary event under the banner of "Meet the CEO 3.0" on October 9, 2023, at the UAP auditorium. Mr. Yasir Azman, CEO of Grameenphone, attended the event as the distinguished keynote speaker, and it witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 250 students from different departments of UAP.

The event began with a warm welcome by Dr. A.S.M. Mohsin, Director of the Directorate of Students' Welfare (DSW). Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, the esteemed Chief Guest, expressed gratitude for Mr. Yasir Azman's presence and highlighted the transformative impact of such events on students' aspirations.

Mr. Yasir Azman engaged the audience with his inspiring career journey, emphasizing resilience in the face of adversity and the importance of dedication and determination in achieving success. He underscored three key virtues: transparency, integrity, and individuality, as guiding principles towards life goals. Mr. Azman's words not only motivated students but also reignited their determination to pursue their dreams. The program also featured an engaging Q&A session and enticing prizes for attendees.

The event concluded with a token of appreciation presented to Mr. Yasir Azman, bestowed by Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor while Dr. A.S.M. Mohsin, Director of DSW, Mr. Mohammad Rakiv, Assistant Professor at DBA and ECDC Adviser, and Mr. Md. Tarek Khan, Assistant Director, DSW, University of Asia Pacific were present. Among others, the event was attended by faculty members and officials of different departments.
