Intra Department Football Tournament Spring 2023: Organized by Pharma Sports Club

Pharma Sports Club is one of the renowned and active clubs in the Pharmacy Department. Indoor and outdoor sports are regularly organized throughout the year by this club. The activities of this club make the staff, teachers, and students happy and joyful. Everyone remains in a festive mood during the whole event. This ultimately improves the bonding among the students of different semesters. This also eventually enhances the connection between students and faculty members. This time Pharma Sports Club arranged the Intra Department Football Tournament Spring 2023.

The grand opening of the Intra Department Football Tournament took place on 12th September. The ceremony was inaugurated by our honorable head of the department, Dr. Irin Dewan, and was enlightened by the presence of other teachers of the pharmacy department.
The Intra Department Football Tournament was held from 13th to 14th September between the 8 teams of 8 semesters at BUET Central field. This tournament had three segments:
 Knockout matches (13/9/2023)
 Semifinal matches (14/9/2023)
 Final match (14/9/2023)

The prize-giving ceremony was held on 14th September at BUET Central Field after the final match. Prizes were given to the man of the match of each game, man of the tournament, best goalkeeper, and best referee, and handed over the medals & trophies of champions and runners-up of the football tournament. After the prize-giving ceremony, the faculty members also played a short match with the students which was a heartwarming moment. The entire event ended with a vote of thanks from the department Head, Dr. Irin Dewan, who thanked A.H.M. Nazmul Hasan, Convener, and Mr. Md. Robin Khan, Co-convener of Pharma Sports Club and the volunteers for arranging this wonderful event.
