UAP graduate achieved ICCR Scholarship

We are delighted to announce that our alumni, Mr. Ananta Proshad Chakraborty, who graduated with an LL.B. in 2023 from the Department of Law and Human Rights, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue an M.A. in "International Relations and Peace Studies" at Nalanda University. This prestigious opportunity is part of the ICCR Scholarship program that was initiated by India's first Education Minister, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. It covers tuition fees, accommodation, food, a stipend for living expenses, airfare, etc.

Nalanda University, recognized as the world's oldest residential university, boasts a rich heritage of academic excellence and a strong tradition of global engagement.

Ananta demonstrated his skills and commitment by actively participating in the Cultural Club and Moot Court Club while he was at our institution.

Notably, he served as an oralist for the Champion Team in the Spring School Moot Court Competition 2024, organized by SAILS. Additionally, he participated in the Henry Dunant and Children’s Rights Moot Court Competitions in 2023, among others.

We wish Ananta continued progress and success in all his future endeavors.
