The Department of Law and Human Rights (LHR), University of Asia Pacific (UAP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Police Staff College Bangladesh (PSC) on Thursday (January 18, 2024) at the conference room of the Police Staff College.
Mr. Rezaul Haque, PPM, Vice Rector, Police Staff College and Brigadier General A.K.M. Nazrul Islam, PhD (Retd), Registrar, UAP signed the MoU on behalf of the institutions.
Rector of Police Staff College Dr. Mallick Faqrul Islam, BPM, PPM, Chaired the program where Architect Mahbuba Haque, Chairperson, BoT, UAP was present as the chief guest and Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP was present as the special guest.
As per the MoU, UAP and PSC will jointly work on various academic and institutional research collaborations. Also will jointly organize various training, seminars, workshops and educational tours. Exchange programs between the teachers and students of the two institutions will be conducted as per the need.
Among others, Dr. M. Alauddin, Member, BoT, UAP; Professor Dr. Md. Sultan Mahmud, Vice-Chancellor, UAP; Md. Abdur Rahim, Head, Department of Human Rights and Law, UAP; Md. Matiur Rahman Sheikh, MDS (Admin & Finance), Police Staff College; Mohammad Jahangir Hossain, MDS (Training), Police Staff College; Md. Shahjahan, PPM, Director (Research & Publication), Police Staff College along with senior officials were present.
