Webinar on “Higher Education, Research and Employment Opportunities in The USA” organized by Department of Pharmacy

The Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific organized a webinar titled “Higher Education, Research and Employment Opportunities in the USA” on 22nd February 2022 at 7.00 PM on the online platform StreamYard and live-streamed on Facebook from the page of Seminar Organizing Committee, Department of Pharmacy, UAP.

Md. Ehtesham Reza, Director of Product Development R&D in Nestle Health Sciences USA was present as the speaker of the webinar. Honorable Vice Chancellor of University of Asia Pacific, Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan and Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahriar, Head, Department of Pharmacy and other faculty members joined the webinar. Md. Reza gave a brief overview about higher education and research opportunitiesin the perspective of USA and then discussed elaborately about the procedures and scope of jobs for pharmacists in the USA.

He also talked about the various planning strategies that students can undertake to prepare for higher studies and jobs in the USA. This was then followed by an interactive question and answer session. Later, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan and Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahriar, Head, Department of Pharmacy shared their willingness to collaborate with Md. Reza in their speeches.

Finally, Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahriar, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, ended the program with a vote of thanks. In his speech, he thanked the guest speaker, Md. Ehtesham Reza for his informative session, Prof. Dr. Swarnali Islam Khandaker, Dr. Shihab Uddin Ahmed, Ms. Nishat Jahan and Ms. Ramisa Anjum for organizing this webinar, and all the faculty members and students for their enthusiastic participation.
