On 15 June 2023, University of Asia Pacific (UAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University College of MAIWP International, Malaysia at the Conference room of VC, UAP.
At that time, Ms. Ismat Zarin, Assistant Professor, Dept. of English, UAP handed over the directorship of Office of International Affairs (OIA) to Ziaul Islam, Associate Professor, Department of Architecture.
Ar. Ziaul Islam joined as an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture, UAP on 17 October, 2006. Graduated from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Ziaul Islam actively engaged in academic activities. He has published a number of seminar papers and publications which reflect his academic interests in human settlement and urban design. He is also affiliated with Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) as Honorary Secretary.
On the other hand, Ismat Zarin is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of English, UAP since March 2019. She is actively involved in research work and academic activities in the national as well as in the international arena. During her tenure as Director, UAP got engaged with a number of International Organizations all over the world. As an experienced academician with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry, Ms. Zarin has always been working to build good relations with international organizations.
Dr. M. Alauddin, Chairman, Board of Trustees, UAP and Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP extended their sincere gratitude and praise to Ms. Ismat Zarin for her tremendous efforts and hard work over the past two years as the Director of OIA, UAP.
