To improve the human brain and utilize it properly to understand any kind of discussions by asking the right questions, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of University of Asia Pacific (UAP) organized an online based free workshop only for UAP students “Can questions help focus learning?" on 21st October 2021. In order to understand the topic, the students have been given through ideas on how to use their brain by asking suitable and right questions and how to get deeper of the topic that have been discussed details in the workshop.

In the workshop, there are many kinds of information about the human brain that have been discussed by the participants. In the human brain, there are 86 billion Neurons. Neurons are the main constituents of the human brain. Neurons are information messengers. They use electrical impulses and chemical signals to transmit information between different areas of the brain, and between the brain and the rest of the nervous system. A total of 30 students from all departments of the university participated in the workshop.

Basically encourage the students and teach the technique how to create relevant questions for capturing the specific topics, discussions etc. in the workshop.

Needless to say that for the first time this workshop is completely free only for UAP students that was organized by Dr. Aloke Kumar Saha, Director, IQAC and Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. It was conducted by Professor Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Chairman of Institute for the Development of Online Teaching (IDOL) and Dean of the School of Engineering, Technology and Sciences, IUB who has been working in human brain and mind and activities.

At the end of the workshop there was a question and answer session which is expected that students will be able to use a questioning technique to focus their brain and learn better.

Dr. Aloke Kumar Saha expressed his vote of thanks to the participants as well as the IDOL team and hope that such a program would be held in a more comprehensive manner in the future.
