OIA holds a seminar on “Inter Professional Collaboration to Address COVID-19 - A Testimony of Global Health: The Power of Politics, People, and Progress"

The Office of International Affairs (OIA), University of Asia Pacific (UAP), organized a seminar titled "Inter Professional Collaboration to Address COVID-19 - A Testimony of Global Health: The Power of Politics, People, and Progress" on 25 July 2022 at the university auditorium.


Dr. Azizur R Molla, Professor, Public Health Program, School of Interdisciplinary Health, Grand Valley State University, USA was the keynote speaker at the seminar while Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP delivered the vote of thanks.

Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP, began his speech by recalling the former Vice Chancellor and Late National Professor Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury who led UAP as the Vice Chancellor for almost eight years. In his speech, he also vividly shared with students that UAP has received the Permanent Certificate from the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh. It is proud moment for all of us. He advised the freshers’ to make the best use of UAP’s resources.


The session was commenced with an introduction on Dr. Azizur presented by Ms. Ismat Zarin, Director, OIA and Assistant Professor, Department of English. At the end of the event, a pot plant was presented to him by Prof. Ahsan on behalf of the OIA. Later, the speaker along with all the distinguished guests, deans, directors and faculty members gathered for a group photo.
