UNIVERSITY OF ASIA PACIFIC SIGNS MoU WITH UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF MAIWP INTERNATIONAL, MALAYSIA

University of Asia Pacific (UAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University College of MAIWP International, Malaysia on 15th June 2023 at the Conference room of VC, UAP.

Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, University of Asia Pacific, Prof. Dr. Wan Mohd Azizi Bin Wan Sulaiman, Vice Chancellor of University College of MAIWP International(UCMI) signed the MoU on behalf of the respective institutions.

According to the MoU, the two universities have agreed to cooperate and facilitate academic as well as research collaborations, exchange of students and faculty members, internship opportunities for students, arrange international conferences and workshops etc.

Among others, Dr. M. Alauddin, Chairman, Board of Trustees, UAP; Prof. Dr. Md. Sultan Mahmud, Pro-VC, UAP, Prof. Dr. Munshi Mahbubur Rahman, Treasurer In-charge, UAP; Professor Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, Dean, School of Medicine, UAP; Prof. Shahriyar Anam, Register In-Charge & Proctor, UAP; Dr. Irin Dewan, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacy, UAP; Ismat Zarin, outgoing Director, Office of International Affairs (OIA), and Assistant Professor, Dept. of English, UAP; Ziaul Islam, newly appointed Director, Office of International Affairs (OIA), and Associate Professor, Dept. of Architecture; and other officials of UAP were present at the ceremony. The ceremony was arranged by the Office of International Affairs (OIA) of UAP.

After the signing ceremony, Dr. Wan Mohd Azizi Bin Wan Sulaiman, Vice Chancellor of University College of MAIWP International (UCMI) went for a short visit of the campus.
