Department of Pharmacy organizes workshop on Photography

Photophilic, the photography club of the Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific (UAP), successfully organized a two-day long workshops on Wildlife and Nature Photography, and Portrait Photography on 20th & 22nd March 2023 at the department.

The first day of the workshop was conducted by Mr. Nafees Ameen on wildlife and nature photography. He covered the basics, aspects and challenges of nature & wildlife photography. Mr. Shoumik Biswas conducted the second day of the workshop on portrait photography and enlightened the participants with the types, angles, and lighting details of portraits. Both sessions were very interactive, where students grasped the whole to improve their photography skills.

Dr. Irin Dewan, Head, Department of Pharmacy, inaugurated the workshop. Dr. Zabun Nahar, Associate Professor, and Mr. Faisal Abdullah Emon, Lecturer, were also present at the opening session. Head of the Department Dr. Irin Dewan handed the certificates to the winner of weekly photo contest.

Prof. Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, Adviser of Photophilic and Dean of the School of Medicine, attended the last day of the workshop and handed the certificates to the participants.
