The Career Development Club, CSE UAP has organized a seminar with PeopleNTech and IGlobal University (IGU). PeopleNTech is an IT institute where they ensure job placement after providing real-time project-oriented Training. IGU is a University in the United States owned by a native Bangladeshi who focuses on connecting industry with academia. The event was held on 17 January 2022 at the auditorium of the University of Asia Pacific. The title of the event was “Seminar on higher study with scholarship and career in USA”.
The event was very successful as there was a lot of participation from students, faculty members, and guests. Engr. Abubokor Hanip, the Chancellor of IGlobal University, USA, and also the CEO and Founder of PeopleNTech was the keynote speaker. The Chief Guest of the event was Prof. Dr. Md. Sultan Mahmud, Vice Chancellor (Acting), University of Asia Pacific. The guest of honor was Mrs. Farhan Hanip, Chief Financial Officer at IGlobal University and the President of PeopleNTech. The two special guests were Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahaman, Dean (School of Engineering), UAP, and Dr. Md. Rajibul Islam, Head of the Department of CSE, UAP.
With all these amazing personnel present at the event, the students were able to interact with them and share their thoughts and opinions. This event had made it possible for students to get a glimpse of jobs opportunities for them. Through this seminar, participants learned about higher education opportunities and IT career paths in the United States. From the seminar, the students not only learned, enjoyed, and interacted but also got a lot of exposure and benefits.
