OA webinar on "Some IoT Sensor- & Vision-based Approaches" was held in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University of Asia Pacific on 4th September 2021. It was a matter of honor that the resource person was Dr. Md. Atiqur Rahman Ahad, Professor, Dept. of EEE, University of Dhaka. He is currently working as a specially appointed Associate Professor in Osaka University, Japan.

The talk was concentrated on various approaches to computer vision-based and IoT sensor-based applications based on image, skeleton, and sensor data. The speaker shares a number of published project work in the webinar which was very encouraging for the students. The discussion session was followed by a Q&A session.

The Head of the department Dr. Tasnia Hossain presided over the program. In the webinar, honorable Dean of School of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mizanur Rahman, honorable Director of IQAC, Prof. Dr. Aloke Kumar Saha, respected faculty members and a large number of students enhanced the beauty of the event with their presence.
