Cyber Security Club of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), University of Asia Pacific (UAP), orgnaised an International Webinar on Cyber Security: Opportunities & Challenges and Cyber Security Bootcamp on 6th February, 2022. Several guests were present in that bootcamp.
Dato Ts, Dr Haji Amirudin Bin Abdul Wahab was presented in this bootcamp as Chief Guest. He is Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Cyber security Malaysia. He believes that cyber security is particularly vital for e-commerce sites. In today's online-driven society, data security is critical. In this day, cyber criminals are extremely active and smart. As a result, cyber security is crucial in protecting data from these hackers.
Md. Fazle Munim (eGov Specialist), as a keynote speaker, described where to begin a career in Cyber Security and which sectors and essential areas to work in ICT security. In this field, security monitoring and ethical hacking can be the starting point. He noticed that the most important educational need for pursuing a career in this field is an undergraduate course. He discussed about seven top Cyber Security certification those are CASP (CompTIA Advance Security Practitioner), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CHFI (Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CAP (Certified Authorization Professioal), CompTIA Security.
Prof. Dr. Md Sultan Mahmud (Acting VC) was the chairman of this webinar & bootcamp, Mr Mohammad Ohidul Islam Bin Dr. Nurul Islam was also presented as special guest. Engr. Khan Mohummad Kaiser (IEB vice president) and Dr. Md Razibul Islam (Head of CSE) were attended as a speaker, and Dr. Muhammad Towfiqur Rahman was the convener of Cyber Security Club and host of this event.
